What a great day at DMS! The 6th graders seemed well-prepared for their first day, and I think we had the least amount of locker problems in our "first day" history! Super job, students, and thanks to parents for preparing your child.

In all classes today, we had orientation with seat assignments and making personalized name tags. Both of these things help me to get to know students more quickly! We also discussed the importance of returning packet information  and the first page of the agenda. Students brainstormed in groups ways of earning Archer Card signatures.

Homework for all classes:

•  First page in your agenda (Signed Certification) due tomorrow (Thurs.) to period 1 teacher
• Packet information due Friday to period 1 teacher
• 6th grade supplies due Monday
• Don't forget a reading book for Monday Read!
