Yay! Friday!

Today all classes worked with more complex complex sentences (does that make sense?) and how to identify the parts of a complex sentence. Students continued with their novel study assignments and applying the concepts to relevant topics. They are working hard!

A big reminder!! LA Elearning is due April 15! If you don't want to be working on it over Spring Break, you should work on it next week. It is due the Tues. after the break, and that is a quick turn-around. Also, if you choose to do it over break, I may not be able answer   questions if you have problems with the assignment. Bottom line: Do you assignment next week!


H/W: P.1,4: Make sure you are reading to keep up with the timeline I gave you. Respond to the questions and fill out your Alphablocks. Make sure you are reading the questions very carefully and answering all parts. Ask me if you don't understand a question! Elearning due April 15.

H/W P 5:  Keep reading Ties the Bind. Keep up with the timeline I gave you! Continue to record in culture model and T-chart. Don't forget the essential question! Elearning due April 15.

H/W P. 2,6: Keep up with your culture novel timeline. Fill out the culture model and the T chart for your novel. Be thinking about how you're going to create your culture comparison model.  Elearning due April 15.
