Today in all classes we completed the Study Guide for Sentence types. Students have become masters of simple, compound, complex, and compound/complex sentences. Now that they can identify them, the tricky part is actually using them in writing. all classes also finished the "Bravest Girl In the World" nonfiction article about Malala. Each class will be doing differentiated responses to the article and its fictional novel counterpart. There is so much to be learned from this outstanding activist for women's education!
