Happy Friday!

*ISTEP is next week! It starts on Monday! Please be rested and well-fed on Monday and every day after that.
*Be watching for a field trip permission slip for Amish Acres that will be coming home early next week. We will be enjoying a wonderful day of theater and lunch May 23rd.

P. 1,4, and 5: Today we went over common figurative language terms to prepare for ISTEP, We did this by analyzing a Dr. Suess poem "Sneetches" and then comparing it to the video. P. 2,6: Final Wordmasters test today!! Wow! What fantastic results! It has been so gratifying for the students to see how much they have improved since taking that first test. Their confidence in vocabulary and word relationships has soared! I will submit the results and see what happens on the national level! Exciting!
Students also wrote me a description of their projects so I can begin getting them graded.
